New Story Unfolding
The working title of this next Story Unfolding is A Soldier’s Angel. It is being written in honor of the author’s favorite fundraiser, Soldier’s Angels, and is about the wife of a new soldier who has been deployed overseas during this Gulf War / Operation Freedom era. The story is really a grouping of short stories based upon the author’s real experiences from when her own, beloved husband was deployed to Kuwait in 1996. . . and yes, it is a love story.
The first thing we need in order to begin is a name for each of our main characters, the soldier and his wife. Please offer suggestions in the comments section of this page -OR- on Facebook’s “Author Beth Durkee Fan Page.” Also, please tell your friends about the story being written.
